Well, if this were true, I'd be the richest sucker on earth!
I think life would be so much more simpler, and everyone would be happier; not just because they'd be "richer", but because the dollar bill counts aren't creating the stress we have today--with more money, comes more problems.
Imagine.. people everywhere would be that much happier... stress-free!

but yes, I believe life would be way less stressful, and there would be less crime, seeing as how people could find their own pursuit of happiness through sharing their joy with somebody else.
imagine how many trips you would take to vegas in one lifetime, just making the trip to vegas would be a payout :-)

oh it's bad, they say money is the source of all greed, and I believe that sounds about right...i think that would be an excellent project to see how the world would fair with a happiness=money system. Do you think there would still be war even if money was only a smile away?

yes, this bit of information strikes very true, money is really the center of most problems.
this is where I believe wars would still be going on, but nuclear power would not be a threat. Imagine not having to worry about homeland security from ranged missile threats or nuclear warfare...

But, money is what makes the world go round, that's where wit comes in, since we can't buy with our own happiness we should secure money with proper investments in money market accounts and using better savings practices.
